Mr. Earl

Featuring two straps coming across the upper, the double monk is the hottest shoe in men’s fashion right now. This shoe is perfect for anyone looking for a modern twist on a classic, elegant style.

Select Your Last:

English

This style is produced using our most famous shoe last, which features a round toe for a classic English look. The English last is a perfect choice for either a casual look or a more contemporary shape to wear with formal clothes. The classic fit and slight almond toe creates a beautiful last with a timeless and versatile shape.

Parisian

This style features the Montecarlo shoe last, versatile and stylish in equal measure. With it’s long elegant vamp finishing with a soft chisel toe profile it is just as suited to casual Chelsea boots as it is formal lace up suit shoes. The classic nature of the toe shape means that it’s a timeless style statement.

Italian

Used on some of our most refined hand finished shoes, the Chisel shoe last is the result of many rounds of refinement to create the perfect men's formal last. Synonymous with Italian fashion, this last features a soft chisel toe and a long elegant vamp. This is a great go-to last for a classic suit shoe.

Full Grain Calf Leather

These shoes are fully-lined with beautifully soft calfskin leather, which means ultimate comfort. Most companies will only partially line their shoes, but Jim Charles goes the extra mile, lining the shoe throughout because it means a more comfortable shoe and less break-in time.

Handmade

The Clicking Department is the first stage of production. The highly skilled Clickers (whose name derives from the ‘click’ sound made when the knife is removed from the leather) use predetermined patterns to intricately cut the shoe’s uppers and linings. Each Clicker design and grind the blade of their knife to their own personal taste and working preference.

Blake Welted

This style is constructed using the Blake welting method. It’s characterised by a double binding (blake and rapid, precisely); while the first attaches upper, lining and insole; the second one secures the insole and outside sole together.

The Blake welt makes our shoes easy to resole whilst offering delightful flexibility from the very first time you wear your unique design.
